Mucho Independence

Happy Thanksgiving one and all! Hope you eat all you can and get your fill of football.
I have been busy working with my expanding independence. Mom took me to the park on Monday after picking me up from daycare. (It was 90 degrees on Monday!!) Mom and I were standing in the sand together and I wanted her to go away so I said "Mama away" and gave her a little shove. She didn't get the hint, so I had to repeat it. Mom is so clueless sometimes. She finally moved and let me do my thing. Later, we were playing on the big twisty slide and mom usually goes down with me. BUT... today I was too quick for her and beat her to the top of the slide and was down at the bottom before mom knew what was going on. Wow- I didn't realize how much fun sliding really was. Mom wasn't allowed near me on the slide the rest of the afternoon!
I'm looking forward to lots of turkey, taters, corn, rolls and pie!
