Mom and I had our first solo adventure in the car. Mom was so excited. She had her 6 week postpartum visit at the birth center. She was cleared to return to exercise and lifting my carseat. Oh joyous day- mom can leave the house by herself now! We celebrated with a trip to Costco- again. More excitement for me- I did manage to stay awake though. The next day (wednesday) we had our birth center class reunion. Everyone brought their babies and their stories about the birth and life since. Everyone is doing well but now mom and dad think I'm to small for my own good. I am pretty skinny next to the other babies but I'm a lot taller so that has to count for something, right. I'm also the only one without head control. Even the kid a week younger than me can hold his head up. Mom and dad are trying their best though.
Mom and I went for run yesterday in celebration of her return to exercise. She was exhausted last night and sore this morning but it is a good thing. Mom has also figured out how to dowload pictures without dads help so their should be a lot more pictures now. Get ready!
