Yipee- Dad's home!! He caught an early flight so he got home at 5 instead of 9. All just to see little ole me- oh and probably mom too!
Mom would like to send big thanks to everyone who checked in on her while dad was gone. Nana D, Heidi (mom of 4), Katherine (mom of 2), Christy (mom of 10 month old twins), Joe and Amy (getting married in November- fun, fun!), Grandma Sue. It helps mom to know she isn't going crazy and neither am I!
Out of sheer desperation, mom remembered a swaddling blanket that Christy gave us way back when. Mom and Dad never had any luck with swaddling with regular blankets, but mom was able to snug me up real tight in this wrap and guess what- I was asleep in 30 seconds! I slept in two 4 hour shifts. She is still tired from lack of sleep the night before but is in a much better mood. She isn't getting to excited yet, check back in a few days to see if it is still working.
