Big Blog

Finally, a weekend with some stuff to report! Nana D flew in from Albuquerque on Friday night for a weekend visit. It was just the girls because dad had left for Flagstaff already for his bike race. Nana was so happy to see me and couldn't believe how much I'd grown in 5 weeks. I greeted her with a nice cry- lovely of me!

On Saturday, the girls went to the farmer's market and mom went crazy buying all kinds of good fruits and veggies. Peaches and tomatoes are in season and they tasted so yummy!

We spent the rest of the day bumming around waiting for dad to get home. He did really well in his race. He finished in the top 10 for his category and is much happier with this finish then with his last race.
Saturday night, mom and dad went to see the Lion King while Nana got to babysit me. I was so good and Nana and I got some good, quality floor time and bonding time. I didn't even have my 6:15 meltdown. See how much I like my Nana?! Mom and dad really liked the Lion King- the costumes were very cool and the sound was the best they had heard in all the shows they've been to. Mom missed having me there though, she thinks I really would have liked the music.
On Sunday, mom had big plans to go for a run or bike ride with dad but opted for sleep instead. I let them sleep until 6 AM. How nice am I? Since Nana was still here, mom and dad spent time splashing in the pool without having to worry about me.
Nana left on Sunday and I cried (screamed actually) the whole way to the airport. A fine send off, don't you think.
Mom went to a wedding shower Sunday night(the start of their crazy busy wedding season) and dad drafted his team for his fantasy football league. All in all a good weekend!
Today, mom and I are home because I threw up 7 times in an hour at daycare yesterday. They called mom at 10:30 and she came over in a panic. I really looked miserable. We went home and she called the doctor. Of course, it was nothing. I felt great after taking a nap. Mom thinks it was maybe some overexcitement or maybe a milk allergy (hopefully not). I'm not allowed back until I've felt good for 24 hours, so today is a free day. Whew- that is alot of talking. This stupid blog won't upload my pictures today, so you will have to wait for another day!
