A Girls Weekend

Wow, what a whirlwind weekend. Mom's friend Heidi came in for a few days. I got toted from Fourth Avenue (the hippie hangout) to La Encantada ( the movie star hangout) to Mt. Lemmon and everywhere in between. We shopped and ate our way through Tucson. My favorite day was Mt. Lemmon because it was nice and cool up there and there was still a lot water from all the rain last week. So green. Mom and Heidi had a few nights without me. They went to see a movie at the newly restored Fox Theatre and had dinner one night at Bistro Zin- mom's favorite resturaunt. They had a huge dinner and then got Chocolate Bars of Zin for dessert. They couldn't finish they and got them to go. Heidi ate hers for breakfast today. Now, that's hardcore! I was very good all weekend and only cried a few times. Mom is starting to think I'm a pretty laid back kid.
This past Friday, mom, dad and I went to my new daycare for orientation. Mom and dad are little overwhelmed by all the daily paperwork, cubby and basket filling and bottle labeling that goes on. I think I made a friend already. I was on the floor in my carseat when a little baby boy scooted over to me to say "hi". Ms. Christa says he is very social. I guess so!
