Mom really did try to post something on Wednesday. We didn't really have much to say, so she was going to post a video but it wouldn't upload and by then, mom just wanted to go to bed. We almost forgot about posting tonight. Thank goodness we didn't because I know how many rely on me to ease the workday boredom:). Unfortunately, this post won't do much for that.
We had a nice, calm weekend. I had very few meltdowns and the ones I had were very short-lived.
Dad had a bike race up in Prescott so he was gone for the weekend and it was just mom and I entertaining each other. I went to Madeline's birthday party on Saturday- there were about a bazillion kids and about that many pregnant women. Mom has never seen so many pregnant bellies outside of the OB's office. It was a little scary for mom and she didn't drink any of the water. I had a fabulous time and all of us 2 year olds spent the time stealing each others stuff and crying about it. Good times!
We got home and mom hoped I would take a nap. But I didn't. We got to watch "Finding Nemo" together instead. Mom gets a little lax in her "1/2 hour of TV a day" rule these days. It is not such a bad thing to have me zoned out in front of the TV while she gets some things done.
On Sunday, mom had a meeting so we had Jesse, my babysitter, come over for a while. I wasn't so thrilled with the whole babysitter thing today. I cried and wouldn't eat my lunch and Jesse wouldn't leave. I woke up from my nap and she was still there-pooh!! Since she obviously wasn't going anywhere, I decided to show her my coloring books and then I kind of liked her again. I was kind of rough on poor Jesse but hopefully she'll come back.
