The Weekend

Well, I guess this weekend was OK.  We had a pretty quiet day today with just some jumping castle action in the afternoon but otherwise kind of a yawner.
Yesterday was much better.  I got to go to my friend Cade's 3rd birthday party.  He had it at a gymnastics gym and us kids had the run of the place.  We got to play on the balance beams, trampolines and best of all the foam pit.  We only had a few close calls and some one jumped on me only once.  I had a great time and worked up a good sweat.  Thankfully, I don't seem to show any great skill in the gymnastic arena.  Not too big of a calling for 6' tall gymnasts!  (Mom and dad have been very good a pointing out the swimmers and volleyball players during the Olympics to me and making sure I pay attention to the form and technique.)
After my rockin' good time at the birthday party and getting amped on cake, mom and dad turned me over to grandma Sue for a few hours so they could have an adult dinner with some friends.  I was invited to dinner but for some reason, I didn't get the notice.  I should be mad but I had a better time with grandma- so there!
On Saturday, when mom put me down for my nap,  I wasn't quite ready for sleep so I entertained myself a bit before I fell asleep.  Mom snuck in a took a picture of the carnage.  What you can't see so well is the gobs of purple glitter that I sprinkled all over the floor.  Fun, Fun!
