We had a fairly good, fairly tired weekend. Mom and dad picked me up from school on Friday and we hit Target and then we got brave and went out to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant. We wisely asked to be seated on the patio. We were the only ones out there and that was a very good thing because I was not to be contained to my chair. I ran around the entire time, pausing only long enough to take a bite of my quesadilla. I'm kind of out of control and I think mom has had it. Dad is much more patient but they would really like to take me out to eat without it turning into such an event every time! Anyhoo...
On Saturday, mom went for her run (it about killed her this time!), dad went for a short bike ride and then we all headed out to the Children's Museum. We hadn't been there in a while and they had some cool new exhibits so I had lots of fun! We thought about going out to lunch but since I pitched a fit on the steps of the museum, mom and dad thought better of it and we came home. I did not take a nap but mom and dad are ever hopeful and stuck me in my room anyway. Sooooorry! We had a quiet night and I was in bed by 7.
On Sunday, dad got up at 0'dark thirty to go to a bike race. Mom and I slept in a bit, had a relaxing morning and then headed out to the zoo. It was a very unusual day here in that it was only 92 degrees so it was great for being outside. The zoo was very fun with lots of the animals out and about. I got to see Alex, Melman and Marty but no Gloria. ( You have to be a fan of Madagascar to know what I'm talking about) After that we went for the train ride which I always love. We came home and mom thought for sure I would take a nap. I had her fooled- I was laying quietly in my room, blanket over my head for about 20 minutes. Baa-haa-haa!!! No way Jose! I don't care how tired and cranky I am, NO NAP FOR JORDAN!
So, now, about the title of this blog. This is because butts are my latest fascination. I talk about butts all the time. I told mom I wanted a butt sandwich for lunch today. I sing John Jacob Jingleheimer BUTT!!. I put the dog bowls on my butt. I shake my butt. It goes on and on and on. Mom loves it. BUTT! HA HA!
Have a great week!
