What's white, cold and never, ever stops? Why yes! It's snow! And more snow and more snow.
We got a fairly good storm on Wednesday night into Thursday, again all day Saturday and now Sunday night it is snowing again. Depending on who you talk to, it's either AWESOME or kind of not so awesome.
Our weekend was pretty boring again with mom and dad spending the majority of the time working on the house. We are almost done there, thankfully and now the fun of packing begins. We have the movers scheduled to come December 17th. There is nothing quite as fun as moving the week before Christmas but at least this way, it will be done and over with. We still just love our new house and can't wait to get into it- white carpet, bad kitchen cabinets and all.
Here are some pictures from Saturday- we headed over to play in the snow in our new yard. Dad had the privilege of shoveling the drive way this time. If you look closely at the picture, you will see our neighbor and the people down the street doing the same thing. What you can't see are all the people on the other side of the street and up the other direction doing the same thing. It was kind of amusing to the Tucson transplants!
Our first snow in our backyard and our first snow man- dad actually got to play in this round of white stuff.
Mom took this picture, one because this is the open space behind our house, which she loves and two, she thinks she has found a new winter sport- right in her own backyard! She's looking for a good used pair of cross country skis so if you have any you want to unload, let us know!
A cold but productive weekend. Dad is heading off to Washington D.C. for the week so mom and I will attempt to pack some more and keep our wits about us until he returns. Have a great one!
