The holidays continue

The holidays are really keeping us hopping around here. On Friday, mom and I did some Christmas shopping for dad's presents but the computer was down at the store so they told us to come back later. Mom said there is no "later" with me in tow. It is either now or never! Needless to say, we didn't get back. Friday night, dad repainted our Whataburger orange wall in the bathroom. It is now a pretty red color and looks so much better
On Saturday, we had a big trip to the grocery store because mom and dad were having a dinner party for dad's work friends. Mom was a teensy bit frustrated because I was having an unusually needy day and didn't want to be put down to play by myself. Apparently, it is hard to chop onions with me on the hip. The party was really fun and the reason I know that is that I was there! Mom tried to put me to bed at 7 (my normal time) and I cried and cried. Dad tried to get me to sleep and I cried and cried so he gave up and brought me out to join dinner. So FUN! I LOVE parties. I finally crashed about 8:30. Mom and dad finally made it to bed about 11.
Mom was hoping that since I went to bed later that I would sleep in Sunday morning but I really like to start my day at 5:30, so 5:30 it was. Mom and dad were a little bleary eyed but they are troopers and we got going. Mom and I hung out in the morning and went to see a movie with her friends. (Not a very good one, sadly.) Dad and I went Christmas shopping and mom kept trying to get me to tell her where we went but no dice mom! You'll just have to wait!
