Holy Cats- I'm exhausted! Mom and dad dragged me all over tarnation this weekend and it was very fun. Dad is back to his every other Friday off at work ( He works 9 hour days to make up for it), so we drove up to Mt. Lemmon to see the snow. Mt. Lemmon is the mountain behind Tucson, about 45 minutes from our driveway. Can you believe so much snow, so close to Tucson. I wasn't over thrilled with it, but I did develop a little taste for the white stuff and found it very interesting to crunch my feet in it. I still don't have enough winter clothes, so we kept the trip pretty short. On Saturday, we had a mini Goedel family reunion. One of dad's cousins is being transferred to Hawaii (poor guy!) so we had a going away barbeque at cousin Sharon's house in Sierra Vista. There were so many babies there- Ashley is almost 2, Jerrod is 16 months, I'm 8 months and Maggie is almost 3 months. All the grandpas and grandmas were thrilled to see how good looking the next generation is turning out to be! I had a blast at cousin Sharon's house. They have SO MANY TOYS! Mom and dad are kind of slackers in that department. I'm getting bored with my wooden spoon and spatula. Anyway, I just dove right in and it was even better than daycare because I really didn't have to share with anyone! I'll be back Sharon and Wayne!
On Sunday, Dad was up at O'dark thirty to drive to a bike race in Phoenix. He did really well considering he was really sick 2 weeks ago and couldn't ride and last week, the weather was to yucky to ride. We don't have the official results, but it looks like a possible top 10 finish. AND, he has a bum knee. Any more excuses dad? Great job!
After he got home, we went to our friends John and Christy's house for a superbowl party. Guess what?! MORE KIDS and MORE TOYS! Woo-hoo! I hit the motherload this weekend! Again, I had a great time and just dove right in. I stole toys from the bigger kids and stole Sienna's cracker (she's almost 2) right out of her hand! Who knew I was such a bully- mom may have to work on that one. Well, it was a super fun weekend for me and too pooped to party much more, so we'll see you later in the week.
