We had a short weekend because mom had to work on Friday, so it was kind of lazy. On Saturday morning, mom and I went for run. I multitasked by taking a nap at the same time. Kind of crazy since I slept until 7:30. That afternoon, I got some quality doggie time in and supervised dad while he put a pool cover on. Mom and I went to church later. I do OK but it sure is hard to use my inside voice and stay in one place. Mom usually lets me wander around the back of the church and yap. I'm sure the other parishoners love it. When we got home, we had our very own episode of Wild Kingdom in our backyard. A big hawk was eating something on our back wall. It was pretty gross but still kind of cool.
Before I came along, mom used to love quiet Sunday mornings, reading the paper. I pretty much put a stop to that but thought I would give it a try this morning. It wasn't half bad! I liked the ads the best. Later, mom and I walked to the park for a little swinging. I almost made her regret it since I fuss quite a bit when it is time to come home.
