Sorry about the delay in posting last week. Mom was exhausted all week and then gave herself food poisoning Wednesday night (from her own cooking even). Since she helps me with these posts, I'm kind of at her whim. Nothing much happened during the week anyway. I did really get into the whole doggie door thing, but mom got tired of that game pretty quick and now, she closes the door. That really chaps my hide and I let her know. I've been throwing a few more temper tantrums this week. So fun but so much work.

The weekend was fun. On Friday, mom and I met our friend Audrey and her 7 month old daughter Maddie for lunch. It was fun, I got to eat chicken, tortilla and avocado. I was pretty much ready to go after an hour though. Audrey and mom loved it because some anonymous

person bought their lunch for them. So cool- mom is always up for a free lunch.

Friday night, Grandma Sue came over to babysit so mom and dad could go see Rent. It was a fun night for me.

On Saturday, I got some good qaulity time with dad at the grocery store while mom was out doing a lecture or something exciting like that. That afternoon, mom and I went to the other park near our house. That one is SOOO much nicer than our usual haunt. It has grass and trees and lots of families playing. I really liked it there. After that, we went to our neighbors "patio warming" party. I ate more chicken and played in the dirt.

Today, Sunday, mom had a bridal shower to go to and dad had a bike race in Patagonia so I had Jesse come over and babysit for awhile. When dad got home, we got to backpack around the neighborhood. I'm starting to really like that thing, which makes mom and dad happy. Now they can plan more outdoor adventures. Good for us. Well, that is it for this weekend. No swimming- the cold and rain came back but only for a day or two. I'm not feeling very creative tonight, so you get the bare bones recap of the weekend. I think mom is feeling a bit overwhelmed by me today. I can't imagine why. Have a good week!
