I HATE WIND!!!! We have had cold, windy weather for the last 3 days, with today being the worst. 50 mile an hour winds. Blech- it makes everyone so crabby. Anyhoo- got that off my chest.
I had my 9 month check up last Thursday. I weigh 16 pounds, 4 oz. (10-25th percentile), 27.5 inches long (50th percentile) and head circumference is 50th percentile. My doctor is kind of surprized at the amount of food I eat (A LOT!) but says I'm doing great. She was a little late getting into the room to see us, so I entertained myself the paper table liner. The room was pretty much a mess by the time she got in there. Maybe next time, she'll be there quicker!
On Friday, Mom and Dad took me to the park for a picnic and then to the zoo. It was fun but so chilly and windy that it was hard to enjoy it.
Saturday was pretty quiet. Grandma Sue came over and I kept her busy for a few hours while mom went out to lunch and dad did things around the house.
Sunday was a terrible day. It was SO windy. Dad was racing his bike in the same race that killed him last year. It was even more miserable this year because of the wind. The only thing good about it was that he rode with his friend Mike, so they could commiserate together. Mom and I had big plans to go for a nice walk in Sabino Canyon but we put the cabash on that when our patio table blew over and shattered. It was just nasty here. I did manage to wear mom out though. After my morning nap, I pretty much never stopped moving. I had mom chasing me all over the house all day long, keeping me away from the dogs, the water dish, the tub, the DVD player, the stove , the dishwasher, the outlets, the humidifier, the diaper genie. She tried an afternoon nap, but I had to much to do to even think about napping. I had a huge meltdown at dinner so off to bed I went- with a fight of course. Not a lot of fun this weekend but they can't all be a party can they?

Poor, poor Daddy's. Thank your Daddy for being such a good sport with ours and not making him feel too bad!
