Well, we are just a little bit confused here. We didn't post on Sunday because we thought it was Saturday and then by Monday, we figured it was to late because we were just going to post on Wednesday. Mom almost forgot to post tonight because she thought it was Tuesday. Mom needs to work on her ability to focus a bit more, I think.
We had a great weekend despite not knowing what day it was. On Saturday, mom and I went to my friend Caroline's for the day. We had a lovely time playing in her huge play room. We even played with her little brother and we got along great. We went for a bike ride, ate some lunch and then watched parts of Tinkerbell. Caroline and I both were to busy with other stuff to spend much time sitting so I think it was more for the moms.
On Sunday, we had a relaxing morning of yard work (2 hours worth) and house cleaning. It is Labor Day weekend you know. Mom and I then gave ourselves pedicures- we look fabulous! After that, we went to my friend Madeline's house. I think the original plan was to let us girls play together while the adults watched a movie. That lasted for about 5 minutes before Madeline and I were downstairs. I think we are not quite at the play all by ourselves stage yet, but the grown-ups keep hoping!
Monday was a very quiet day, which was good. Grandma Sue came over to take us out to dinner and I got to pick where we went. I decided I wanted chocolate chip pancakes, so off to IHOP we went. I LOVED my pancakes and loved grandma Sue for letting me get them!
It was back to the real world on Tuesday- I got my first cold of the season. Fortunately, it is pretty mild but couldn't be avoided. Mom picked me up Tuesday afternoon and every single kid had a snotty nose. Tis the season I guess.
I think we are back on schedule now so we will see you on Sunday!
