Low Keyed Fun

I had a pretty quiet weekend here. It was mom's last free Friday. She is starting a new job at work and will be picking up a few hours on Fridays now. You would think we would do something really fun but no, we just ran errands and waited for dad to come home so we could run more errands. We did get to go to the pet store and I loved, loved watching the hamsters and gerbils run in their cages. The birds were pretty cool too.
On Saturday night, we went to mom's boss' house for the big Halloween party. The party started at 7 and we were there at 7:01 along with all the other people with kids. We made our exit at about 8:01 along with all the other people with kids. I had fun though, running toward the pool and away from mom and dad and pulling up all of the nice lighting on the ground. I even got to dance a little. Good times. We went as the Apple family- dad was the iphone, mom was an ipod and I was the shuffle. All of our costumes fell off within 5 minutes of walking in the door, so really, we were just not much.
Sunday, mom went to a wedding shower and Grandma Sue came over and we hung out while dad did stuff around the house. A pretty uneventful weekend but that makes the eventful ones that much more fun! Have a great week!
P.S. Here is a picture of dad letting me do what mom won't. I know who to ask for the car keys in a few years!
