Grasping the concept

So, about 2 weeks ago, Ms. Celeste and Ms. Kacee, my teachers in daycare, told mom how good I always was. I always listened well, never hit anyone, never bit anyone and never had to be told twice what to do. Of course, mom wasn't sure who they were talking about, but they swore up and down it was me. Well mom shows up last week and Ms. Celeste and Ms. Kacee ratted me out and told mom I wasn't listening anymore. Mom thought that sounded a bit more familiar You just can't trust anyone.
Mom has started to try the dreaded "time-out" and I think I have it figured out. On Sunday, I was walloping Daisy with Animal and mom told me to stop. Of course, I didn't hear and next thing I know, I'm in a corner with mom "blah, blah blahing" at me. Something about not hitting the dog. I sat there forever (2 minutes), got out after more "blah, blahing" and resumed walloping. Back in the corner for me. By that time I was tired of walloping Daisy and found something else to do for awhile. Then the temptation was to great and I went back to walloping Daisy. I looked at mom and put myself into the corner. It was a fun game! I guess mom decided the time-out wasn't working so she took away Animal instead. Now , I get it.
I have been home sick for 2 days now with a fever of 104. I feel fine as long as I have lots of Tylenol on board but still to sick for daycare. Mom stayed home with me yesterday and today and it is Dad's turn tomorrow.
Here are some more pictures of our yard with the new gravel. Please take note of our little patch of grass. Dad is very excited about that and we know the dogs can't wait for it all to come in. Grass probably doesn't seem like such a big deal to my Midwest and east coast readers but trust me- it is a big deal! We still have a lot of planting to do but at least we can outside without stepping on a rusty nail now.
