I think we are back on schedule now. It is Sunday, right? We are all feeling better now and have broken all our resolutions, so the New Year is finally going better!
What have I been up to these days? As a surprise for mom, I washed Animal...in the toilet. I think that was the most surprising thing. She was actually very calm when she found me dunking him, very diligently, in and out of the toilet. He was looking just about right when she took him and tossed him in the wash. I guess that works too.
The rest of the weekend was pretty quiet- we went to the zoo on Saturday, supervised dad doing yard work and had the neighbors over for dinner on Sunday. Dad finally got our firepit up and working after only about 50 trips to the hardware store. He has moved all kinds of dirt and made all kinds of mounds, got the sprinkler system in and planted some grass seeds. Good thing mom and I were there to make sure everything went OK. I don't think dad could have done it without us!
