All Nana, all the time!!

So much happened this weekend I don't know where to begin. On Friday, mom had to work and dad had a bike race which meant that Nana and I got to hang out all day together. We had a leisurely breakfast, wandered over to the park and played there a bit, went to Frost for some gelato, ate some lunch, took a nap- you know, it was kind of a hard day! We got to eat dinner outside finally. That is my new nightly request, to eat dinner outside and it doesn't get granted as often as I'd like. We had lettuce fresh picked from our garden and dad got the special treat of a worm in his. He was very excited about that. Then we had fresh picked strawberries from our garden too, minus the worms. Those were tasty.
On Saturday, mom and dad were gone again in the morning but in the afternoon, Nana, mom and I went up to the fancy mall. I played in the cool toy store for awhile and then we all went to Ann Taylor where the sales lady gave me my very own Ann Taylor shopping bag. I LOVE that bag. I spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around with the bag on my shoulder pointing out to mom everything that I liked in Crate and Barrel. "My likes dis chair, mom", "my likes dis pillow,mom", "Mama likes dis couch".
The sales people were drooling with gold mine they see coming down the road!
Saturday night, we went to the neighbors for a bar-b-que and I ran around like a crazy woman, with my Ann Taylor bag, of course.
Sunday, dad had more bike racing so mom, nana and I went to the zoo. All the animals were so loud, they scared me a little, but it was all good. The rest of the day was pretty quiet and we had to take Nana to the airport in the afternoon. I was pretty much a crank the rest of the afternoon and had to go to bed early.
