Sorry for not posting on our usual Sunday night. We had a bad weekend on many levels and just needed to regroup but now are back and ready to go. So, as you can maybe tell from our title, mom and dad continue to be confounded by me. There are just too many rules around here. Here is just a sample of what I hear all day. "Do not hit Daisy/sit on Daisy/pull Daisy's tail." "Do not put your foot on the kitchen table while we are eating" "Get your hand out of your milk." "Do not put your food between your toes." "Do not run on the couch." "Do not climb on the coffee table." "Do not go out through the
doggie door." All day long, that's all I hear over and over and over.
Sheesh. I don't think patience is mom's strongest trait and I know she doesn't like repeating herself but I really don't like being told what to do. I even got to go to daycare in my diapers this morning but I refused to get dressed. Mom may be rethinking that tactic though because I thought it was pretty fun! It was almost more fun than rolling and squirming all over the floor while mom tries to get me dressed- which is my new trick!
Anyway, back

to the weekend. I was home sick on Friday so just kind of laid low.
I got to spend all day Saturday and Sunday with Dad because mom was (happily) in a work conference all weekend. I made it a little rough on dad with lots of whining, crying and tantrums but we did manage to squeeze in a trip to the
children's museum on Saturday. I found this awesome T-Rex and scared him away with my big monster arms.
On Sunday, Grandma Sue saved the day. She got me a HUGE "dummy" (bunny) for
Easter AND and an awesome pair of Dora the Explorer
PJs. That made my day!
Mom had Monday off work so she and I went to the Botanical Gardens to visit the tropical butterfly exhibit. That was pretty cool for about 1 minute than I found the fish in the pond and that was much better. We had a long, tiring, cranky afternoon and I was in bed by 7 and mom had her wine by 7:01.
It's probably a good thing I'm so cute, huh?
