Happy New Year!

I can bring home the bacon....
And fry it up in a pan!

Here are the adults whopping it up on New Years!

Here's hoping everyone had a great New Year!  Sorry we didn't post on New Year's day but I figured no one would be reading that day- Mr. Walker!

Let's see...what have we been up to?  Mom hurt her back again on Tuesday and has been out of commission for a few days.  At least this time she can still walk- just not fully upright.  Thankfully she knows a few good PTs.  She is almost back to normal today.

We went to our neighbors house for New Year's Eve.  It was so easy to walk over (well, not for mom) and then walk back.  I was a little out of control but hey, it was a party.  You just gotta let loose sometimes.  Dad and I made it until about 10 and we came home.  Mom couldn't get up off the couch so she decided to stay until 12:01.  It is always good when at least one person in the family sees midnight.
We all slept in New Year's Day and just enjoyed a quiet morning.  After my nap we went to our friend Eric's house for another party.  I could hardly wait, I had so much fun at last night's party.  Eric's house was great because I got the big screen TV and TV room all to myself to watch Rudolph and Dora.  I think the adults had a good time too but not as good of a time as I did.
On Friday, mom and dad both had the day off but I got dumped at daycare anyway.  When mom dropped me off, I was coping a major 'tude and just being generally mean and Ms. Wanda was dealing with another tantruming little girl.  Poor Ms. Wanda.  Mom felt a little bad but got over it kind of quick.  Mom and dad spent the day furniture shopping and eating more junk food.
On Saturday, mom and I went to the Children's Museum and I showed off my full range of talents from gourmet cook to construction goddess.  Whew- it takes a lot of talent to be superwoman.  Dad and I got an evening together when mom went out for a girl's night.  Dad sensed trouble when she walked in with shopping bags at 9 o'clock at night.:)
Today has been rainy and cold.  It was a perfect day for visiting grandma Sue.  She made a huge Korean feast with egg drop soup, bulgogi, noodles and rice.  Papa Vern made a delicious coconut cream pie for dessert.  Guess how much of that really good food I ate?  Go on, guess!  None!!!  You'll just have to take mom and dad's word for it that it was good.
I hope everyone is able to stick with your New Year's Resolutions for at least week!
