The Shopping List

Today after mom picked me from daycare, we had to go to Trader Joe's for some groceries.  Mom had the list in her head and was saying it out loud to me.  I repeated it back to her "Peppers, cucumbers, salad dressing, milk".........and then added "and wine, too" 

Mom isn't sure where my obsession with the wine comes from.  It isn't like mom and dad drink a whole lot of it- or so they think.  Maybe mom has more "rough days" and is self medicating more than she thinks.  Hmmm.   Next, I think I'll be more specific and ask for big Cabernet or something along those lines.

I've also started down the path of the "why" questions.  "Why is that car making steam?"  "Why did somebody put those rocks right here?"  So far, those are pretty easy questions I'm lobbing at mom but I'm just getting her warmed up!

How are those New Year's Resolutions holding up?  So far, so good here!
