Hidey-ho everyone! Hope your weekend was relaxing. We had a nice one here. It started out with a bang on Friday. Mom and dad picked me up from school and we went to the grocery store and THEN the Dollar Store. I think we were just killing time because we didn't actually buy anything. I was a little worried about the rest of our weekend after a start like that but we recovered nicely.
On Saturday, we had a slow morning but we went out for lunch and then headed to the Pima Air and Space Museum. That was awesome. I've never seen so many planes all in one place.

The air traffic control tower was pretty neat with lots of buttons and lights.

But I think my favorite part was the flight simulator. It was awesome and I couldn't get enough. I didn't want to leave and when I was dragged out, I immediately wanted to go back. I was pretty comfortable behind the controls so of course, mom and dad started planning my career as a pilot. We'll see.

On Sunday, our friends Joe and Amy invited us up to their cabin for the day. It was a beautiful, chilly fall day up on the mountain. We had a fabulous brunch of popovers, eggs, sausage and fruit.

After heaving ourselves away from the table, we went for a walk to enjoy the sun and cool air. Mom ended up carrying me back most of the way so she really enjoyed the walk as well. I guess I'm not as light as I used to be.
It was another weekend with no naps so I was in bed by 6:30 but it sure feels good when you are this tired! Have a great week!
