We are going to start this week's blog off with a quiz.
What is this?
Good guess if you said Saran Wrap- but you would also be wrong. This is another handy container for all my cars. So far I have managed to put my extensive collection of cars into every available carrying case I can find.
We had a blissfully boring weekend here. We are all kind of wacked out with our allergies so we have been sleeping hard. On Friday, we did our usual out to dinner and ice cream.
On Saturday, the highlight of the day was taking the dogs to the vet for their annual check-ups. I got to help mom with that while dad stayed back and did all the yard work. I'm not sure who had more fun. In the afternoon Mom ran a whole bunch of errands and came home and hid stuff in the closet. I wonder if it has anything to do with my upcoming birthday??? We got in an afternoon swim and hit the sack early.
Dad was up at 2:45 AM Sunday morning to head out for the State Championship Hill Climb. It didn't go too well for him but on the bright side, he did beat a cocky 20 year old.
While dad was showing the younger generation how it's done, mom and I headed to church. We went to the 10AM children's mass and mom actually enjoyed it because I fit it in perfectly. It was pretty much controlled chaos the whole time and Father Gerry knows how to keep a mass moving! After that, we headed to my favorite sandwich place for lunch and then to the planetarium. The planetarium was really kind of a let down. Not much to do there that wasn't broken or half broken. We did make it to a show on the planets which was pretty cool. Jupiter is so big, 900 Earths could fit inside it. It also has 2 moons called Phobos and Deimos. I spent the afternoon singing about Phobos and Deimos.
We came home just in time to see Dad pull in the drive way and then we headed to the pool for a quick dip.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week. My birthday is in`9 days by the way. You know, in case you were wondering or anything.
