Today is my very special day! I'm 4! I went to bed last night without any complaint because "I'm going to have very busy birthday and I need to rest."
Mom and dad woke me up with a rousing and very off key rendition of "Happy Birthday" and whipped cream waffles.
I had cupcakes at school and Ms. Chelsea made me a special Birthday Girl crown that I wore all day.
We met dad for dinner at my favorite sandwich place and then came home and opened presents and ate red velvet cake. Sooo yummy. I got lots of cool stuff but I think my favorite is the hot pink scooter. So far, I ride it everywhere in the house- to the bathroom, to my room, to play hide and seek. The possibilities are endless!
Mom and dad can't believe that this was me just 4 short years ago. They had no idea what a ride they were in for and can't wait to see where we go from here.
First birthday- kind of sucked really.
