Albuquerque: Round Two!

We were getting a little bored with all of our weekends at home, so it was time for another Goedel Family Road Trip. We headed back to Albuquerque for part two of Uncle Adam and Aunt Erin's wedding. The wedding was in June and this weekend was the reception.
We left here about 6 AM and rolled into Abq. 8 hours later, courtesy of 1 lunch stop and 3 potty stops for me. We made it safely though and that's all that matters.
When we finally got settled in Abq., we joined Mr. Walker outside at his new, sweet, grill set up to play dinosaurs and cars. Then, a whole bunch of Nana D's family rolled into town and joined us for dinner. We had Aunt Mary Kay, Uncle Jim, Aunt Marilyn, Uncle Adam, Aunt Erin, cousin Brian and Amanda and their son Miles, and cousins Susan and Marilyn. It was a houseful and it was very fun. Miles is 2 and I spent the evening showing him the ropes as only a 4 year old can. We got along just great!

After a pretty late night (I hit the hay around 10), I slept until 7:30 the next morning. It was a good thing I slept so long because I really needed my energy for the party on Saturday. We headed up to Uncle Adam and Aunt Erin's house around 1 and helped set up for the party. We spent the rest of the afternoon with really fun friends and family. It was a beautiful day and I had a ball running all over the place, all afternoon.

We wrapped things up around 6 and everyone had a grand time including Jazzy-Poo, Aunt Erin's dog (who I desperately want to take home with me). She could not stay awake one more second and found the closest lap she could collapse in.

(U. Adam and A. Erin have a million hummingbirds at their house and they were loving the party as well!)
We had a small "after-party" back at Nana's and Mr. Walkers because we hadn't seen enough of each other or eaten enough food already and finally wrapped up the day around 10.
We got on the road about 8:30 and had a very nice, uneventful drive home. I did sleep the last hour and half and am still exhausted but it was worth it!
Have a great week!
