My Pearly Whites

I had kind of a big "first" this week. Mom finally got around to making my first dentist appointment ever. She is probably the worst mom ever because I should have gone two years ago. But, in her defense, until now, I probably wouldn't have been able to sit still long enough.

So, off we went first thing Wednesday morning. I did really, really well. The dental hygienist poked around my teeth and gave me a good polishing (yapping the whole entire time- the hygienist, not me!) and flossing. Then dentist came in and poked around some more. He told mom he would have liked to see more space between my teeth at this point because that means there will be lots of room for the big teeth. Which is a fancy way of saying that braces may be in my future. We aren't going to worry about that now though. After I was all through, I got to go to the treasure box and pick out a prize. I found a really cool Parasauropholus to add to my collection so the trip was well worth it!

The rest of the week was pretty quiet. Dad picked me up from school on Friday and we headed to the toy store and I got to pick out a new toy. You'll never guess what I chose- it isn't what you think. I chose the Big Tub of Dinosaurs! It took me about an hour to decide between the tube of dinosaurs, the bucket of dinosaurs and the tub of dinosaurs. Since dad was buying, I went with the big ol' tub of dinosaurs. It came with 9 dinosaurs, 6 trees, 12 rocks and a playmat! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I actually told dad that I had enough cars. I know! Mom can't believe it either!
Saturday, mom went and finally got her hair whipped back into shape and dad and I started working on mom's birthday present. Her 25th birthday is only 9 days away now, you know. We had to go to a secret place to work on it and I couldn't tell mom where we went. Mom is very curious now because dad always does such imaginative things. Good thing she doesn't have long to wait.
Sunday, mom and I headed to church. We stayed after to enjoy the ice-cream social and play on the playground for a bit. Mom met a very nice lady with a daughter my age and they started talking schools. It's crazy to think I'll be in kindergarten this time next year!
We spent the rest of the day lounging around by the pool and playing dinosaurs of course.
All in all a great week was had by all!
