Another week has flown by. We had a fairly light week soccer wise. The Pink Ladybugs had a game on Tuesday and practice on Thursday. I tolerated this week's game much better because we got to play in the shade. I still don't grasp the concept of stealing the ball and kicking to the goal but at least I was running with the pack instead of laying on the ground! I had a really good practice on Thursday and actually stole the ball and scored quite a few times in a scrimmage. I think Coach Bill hit on motivation for me when he told me to be a pirate and make an "Aarrgghh" sound every time I stole the ball. Way to much fun!
On Friday, mom and dad picked me up early and we headed up to Mt. Lemmon for the night. Our favorite camping friend, Madeline and her parents just got a camping trailer so they wanted to take it on trial run and we went with them to teach them all about trailering.
We met them up at Windy Point, about half way up the mountain, and did some hiking around for a bit. I loved it because it was perfect dinosaur country and dad and I pretended we were Allosaurs climbing all over the rocks.
On Sunday, mom and I went to church and then the plant store after to get some nice fall plants for our front yard. We are trying to trick our brains into thinking its fall even though it's 101 degrees outside. Blech.
In the afternoon, mom and I met my friend Caroline and her mom at the park and spent some quality time burning off energy there.
I hit the hay early as is usual for my Sunday night and am ready for a full week.
Nana D and Mr. Walker made up and back down Kilimanjaro and are on a safari now. They should be back in Albuquerque on Thursday unless they get eaten by lion.
