Aaaaahhhh

After a very hectic, busy, tiring week, we had such a nice weekend, all we can say is "Aaaaahhh".  If we were a bit crazy, we could almost say we were ready to start the week.  But, who are we kidding?  We are never ready to go back to work- mom and dad keep hoping to hit the lottery and retire in the next year.
Friday night, we went out to dinner and did some wandering at Target- always a good time.  You never know what you need until you see it!
Saturday,we slept in until 7 AM!!  We did some exercising and some house cleaning and then mom and I were off to a tea party with my camping friend Madeline.  It was all kinds of fun- a bunch of screaming girls amped on cookies, candy and lemonade.  We got a good game of "hide and seek" going and I hid so well, the other girls forgot about me.  That made me a little sad/mad but I recovered quickly once I found the Barbie RV.  That was sweet!
On Sunday, I was up at 5:30 which really irritated mom- who gets up at 5:30 on a Sunday morning?  We spent a nice morning playing games, making granola and doing some more chores around the house.  In the afternoon, I had a playdate at my friend Elizabeth's house so mom and dad took advantage of few child free hours and mom headed out shopping while dad got caught up on his cycling shows.
When I got home, we got to have our first outdoor dinner of the year.  It was 81 degrees and mom grilled up some chicken (and wonder of wonders, didn't over cook it!) and an arugula and farro salad and we enjoyed the wonderful evening.
