Friday, we went down to Tubac, Arizona for Joe and Amy's rehersal dinner. They had barbacoa which is a Sonoran style barbeque. So yummy- mom and dad went back 3 times for food (as did everyone else- piggies!) It was fun and I had a meeting of the minds with the other babies there.
On Saturday, we drove back down for the wedding. Dad was a groomsman, so we had to go down early. Unfortunately, our hotel room wasn't ready, so while dad was doing wedding stuff, mom and I wandered around the resort for 3 hours trying to keep me occupied and happy. Mom was pretty crabby herself by the time we got checked in. I did managed to get a 1/2 hour nap but I was still grumpy most of the afternoon.
The wedding itself, was great. Such a beautiful setting, great food, fun crowd. Dad looked pretty spiffy in his tux, too. Apparently, I danced some but it must have been after I fell asleep on mom's shoulder because I don't remember it.
After a rough night of sleep, we drove home and got some much needed naptime. Sunday night, I was in a little better mood so we went to our neighbors house to watch the 10th ranked Wildcats blow it in a loss to an unranked Virginia team. I was very vocal in my irritation with the team. Dad says it will just make them better. I hope so!
Today is mom and dad's 2nd anniversary. They celebrated by doing not much. Dad got mom a cool, very pretty watch and mom got dad a cool, pretty hip jacket.
I included the picture of us at the barbecue because mom and dad think I look like Kenny from Southpark. Whatever!
