Stir Crazy

It was another pretty quiet weekend.  I got mom's cold so we had to lay pretty low.
Mom and dad managed to get out for a date night on Friday.  Colleen came over to play with me and mom and dad went to see the early show of "Slumdog Millionaire".  It was a very good movie but made mom appreciate all the more everything we have here.
We all got to sleep in thankfully on Saturday morning.  Mom got to go for a run and then weekend was pretty much downhill from there.  I was just sick enough that mom wanted me to stay home and rest but I wasn't so sick that I didn't make her crazy.  Neither of us do well when we are stuck at home all weekend, so.....
Dad came to the rescue and took me to the bookstore so I could spend my Christmas gift certificate from Aunt Mary Kay and Uncle Boo.  You guys really saved the day with that one!  I got 4 really cool books- a Thomas the Train book, Dora (of course), Papa will you get the moon for me and The Grouchy Lady Bug.  Mom thought the Grouchy book was perfect for this weekend.
On Sunday, it was more of the same with mom and I  stomping on each other's last nerve most of the day.  We did manage to get to our neighbors house to watch the Superbowl, thank goodness.  Sadly for us in Arizona, the Cardinals couldn't quite pull it off.  It was a pretty good game though.  Did anyone else get the "interruption" toward the end of the 4th quarter?  If anyone else saw it, I think it made Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction look like Sesame Street.  Wow- I hope any kids watching had their eyes covered!  (I was in bed already, I just heard about it).
That's about it for us.  See you Wednesday and hopefully everyone will be less grouchy!
