On Friday, we made our usual Costco run but we didn't have a ton of fun because mom was exhausted and impatient with me, dad just wanted to get through it so he could get home to watch basketball and I wanted to be anywhere but there. It was our shortest Costco visit on record!
On Saturday, mom went for a run and then she and I hung out by the pool all morning long. We didn't actually get in but we did splash with our feet some. Mom and dad also spent a lot of time wandering around the backyard looking at all of the new plants- they looked kind of silly but whatever keeps them occupied.
Dad got his new bike frame (his old one was beat up the crash) and couldn't stand not tinkering with it, so he spent the day moving the components from his old bike to his new one- broken wrist and all. If anyone wants a 54", slightly creaky Cervelo, have we got a deal for you! It's only been ridden to church and back on Sundays- by a grandma!
Saturday night, we wandered over to our neighbors to celebrate Nicole's birthday. Mom didn't have a lot of fun because I was being a bit to demanding for her to have an actual conversation with anyone else.
On Sunday, we headed out to the park to meet Carter, Jameson and their mom Johanna and dad Ty and Bailey and Paige and their mom, Jen. It was a lot of kids and we had a great time soaking up the sun and burning off energy.
Grandma Sue came over for dinner Sunday night and I kept her busy for the better part of the evening, going on hikes in the backyard, playing with dogs and throwing rocks.
I think the big news for the weekend is that I spent all weekend in big girl panties and only had one accident! Yeah, me! Could we possibly be ending the diaper phase soon?!
Oh yeah! Let's give a big shout out to our very own Arizona Wildcats!! Sweet Sixteen Baby! The only Pac 10 team left! Take that USC!
Wow- for not having done anything this weekend, we sure did write a lot!
Have a good week!
