It's All About Me!

Nana, Mr. Walker and U. Adam came out on Friday.  It was a wonderful, hot day- just like mom likes it!  Nana got to come with mom to school to pick me up.  She was so excited to see me, that she wouldn't even let me out of the bathroom before she said "Hi!"  To be fair, I was very excited to see her too.  We got home and all of us went for swim and scarfed up pizza and wings for dinner.  Not to healthy but wait until you hear about tomorrow.
We got up early on Saturday and headed out to the splash park for MY BIRTHDAY PARTY!  Woo-hoo!  It was again a nice toasty day- perfect for a little water play.  The party didn't start out to well as I stepped a big bee and got stung pretty good.  We put some ice on it, did some psychological counseling and headed back to the water.
We had all kinds of yummy food to eat.  Mom and dad got Eegee's sandwiches (they are big subs for those of you not in Tucson), slushies, juice boxes, chips and cake.  I drank 3 juice boxes, one slushie, 2 bags of chips and 3 pieces of cake.  Hey- it's my party!  I was a true joy to be around that night.
Mom got me a really cute cake from the movie "Madagascar" (the best movie ever- "your a Baaad kitty!") but by the time we got around to eating it, it had pretty much melted into goo.  It was still a reeeeally good chocolate cake.
I had such a good time and was very sad to go home but life is difficult and I soldier on.
We got home and because we hadn't had enough sun and fun, we headed back into the pool.  I'm turning into quite the little fish and can swim a few feet on my own.
Everyone left Sunday morning, including dad who had a race to go to.  Mom and I spent a very relaxing morning just hanging out and then headed up to the fancy mall for a little bit.  Mom even got brave and took me into a nice store to look at some jewelry.  I did really well with the "no touch" rule until mom turned her back for just an instant.  Next thing she heard was a huge crash that was the big necklace display that I pulled onto the floor.  Ooops.  The store people were very nice about the whole thing but mom still felt the need to buy something.  She got a cool necklace out of it.
So that was my weekend and apparently the fun isn't over.  Mom keeps telling me there is more birthday fun coming in a few days.  Hmmmm- I like this!

Here I am with my friends Madeline and Caroline on the climber at the splash park.

We are thoroughly enjoying my melty chocolate cake- soooo good!

These are my cousins Jerrod, Ashley and Maggie.  They found what little shade they could!

Here are dad and I headed back into the splash park post bee sting.

Dad and I are gettin' crazy.  I love to jump in and swim myself back to the top.  That doesn't scare mom at all!
