The Crack Down

Mom has been watching Super Nanny. You know how I know? A chore chart has appeared on the wall in the kitchen and I have been in time out almost everyday for the last 2 weeks.

I think mom and dad have finally clued into the fact that it isn't OK for me to talk back, scream and just generally be rude. It is also no longer OK for me to lay all over mom and dad at dinner. I'm actually expected to sit up and eat now. Things are just crazy around here now!

I'm actually kind of excited about my chore chart. I get to feed the dogs, set the table and help mom with my laundry. Every chore I do, I get a smiley face. If I get a week of smiley faces, I get a special prize. Woo-hoo! I earned my first smiley face tonight.

Other than that, the only exiting thing is mom working on her second cold of 2010. Ain't life grand?! OH! I almost forgot! I am out of diapers all together now- even at night! Everyone is very happy for me and a big bed isn't to far behind. So it isn't all bad here- mom is just cranky!

Conversation overheard between me and Haile: "Haile, I just don't get it. Why is life so hard?"

And this was before Super Nanny. Imagine how hard my life is now!
