Could it be.....!

We can hardly believe it around here, but we have had 3 healthy days! We are just beside ourselves with excitement and are not quite sure what to do with all our energy!
So, on Friday, I had an appointment with my allergy doctor to discuss my rash. Mom just absolutely loves this guy- he is so great with kids and spends a ton of time with us- and he is retiring. Mom is very sad but that is another story. I'm going to get re-tested for my peanut allergy on Monday and the penicillin thing, we are just going to wait on. It is a nasty skin prick test and it just isn't worth the pain at this point in my life. So- mom is hoping I've outgrown my allergy but we will see. After that, we went out to dinner and then for ice cream.

We came home and we all hit the hay kind of early. Even though every one is feeling good, we are all still pretty tired from life.
Saturday was just a great day all around. Dad got in a nice long bike ride up Mt. Lemmon. There is 85 inches of snow up there now and that is just crazy for Tucson. We've gotten so much weather this year. In the afternoon, mom went for a nice long walk with her good friend Shari who was in town visiting. They headed to Sabino Canyon and mom actually got a sunburn. It was such a great afternoon. When she got home, she tackled a home improvement project. Mom had decided long ago that she wanted a mosaic glass back splash and the only way she was going to get was to do it herself.
It is actually going together fairly easily. Mom is kind of surprised at herself and thinks maybe she could do this for a living. All that is left to do is caulk and grout. That should only take her about a year. However, dad limits her to one project at a time so maybe she will be motivated to get this done so she can take on their bathroom!

While mom was re-doing the kitchen, dad took me to the toy store to let me pick out whatever I wanted (within reason of course). We wandered around that store forever and I looked at all kinds of stuff. I eventually came home with 8 new HotWheels and a race track. Mom is just a little distraught but her friends offered lots of support and told her Nascar is really very fun.

Sunday was a pretty quiet day. Mom and I spent the morning playing with my car carpet (big surprise) and then we headed to the park to meet with our friends Ms. Jen, Ms. Johanna, Carter, Jameson, Paige and Bailey. I spent most of the time stuck to mom's leg. Mom has decided that it is always good to hang out with moms that have kids older than me because they have lots of good insight.
We spent the rest of the day inside because the rain moved in- again. It was a good day for sitting on the couch and watching movies.

All in all a good weekend!
