I did MUCH better at school on Thursday and Friday. I stayed on my green card all weekend, ate my lunches and took naps.
We had big plans to go camping this weekend but it was so dang windy that we figured it wouldn't be much fun. It was probably a good thing though because I was able to catch up on sleep.
Dad had Friday off so he staged a "jail break" and sprung me from school early. We stopped by to see mom and bring her some lunch at work. She was very happy to see us.
When she got home from work, we all hit the hot-tub for the afternoon. I was in bed early but mom and dad actually made it to 10 (well maybe 9:30, but close enough).
On Saturday....let's see... I can't even remember. That's how exciting it was. Oh yeah! Mom went to see "Up in the Air" with one of her friends. It was a very good movie but really made her appreciate me and dad even when I'm pitching fits. That night, even though I hadn't had a nap, we got adventurous and went to Pinnacle Peak for dinner. Pinnacle Peak is a very fun steak place here in Tucson that has quick service, decent food and a train. What more could you ask for??
On Sunday, mom and I had a great morning at the zoo. I was fascinated by the Capyberas and learned all about anteaters. Did you know they can't open their mouths? And their tongue is longer than my arm? And they can use their tail for a blanket or for shade? Pretty cool stuff!
In the afternoon, dad and I went to the hardware store. We had to leave mom alone because she was attempting to finish her back splash that she started. She kept hoping if she waited long enough, dad would finish it for her. That's usually how it goes- mom has a lot of energy to start a project but then gets bored, moves on to other things and leaves the aftermath for dad to finish. Not this time though. Dad stuck to his guns and mom finished what she started. It looks nice- from a distance. We'll post pictures on Wednesday.
Well, I'm off to bed to get ready for another week. Have a good one!
