Please, Please, Please, no more...

It has been a pretty uneventful week. We had another cold, wet rainy Monday and Tuesday afternoon. We love the rain here in the desert but enough is enough already! It is the middle of March and we should be in our flip flops and short sleeves. We left the house in our winter woolies because it was 34 degrees out- brrrr! So, please, please,please, no more rain!

I have started to cough again:( It started last night and Ms. Barbara told mom I was coughing a lot today. Mom is hoping and praying that it is just allergies because things are starting to bloom around here now. She got hopeful on Monday and cleaned and put away the humidifier. It was a trooper-plugging away for almost 2 months straight. She was sad to pull it out again tonight. I also got a dose of Benedryl because that is what you take when you have allergies and NOT A COLD right??! Please, please, please, no more sickness!

Despite the above gloom and doom, we have had a really nice, positive week. I am still in a great mood and so kind and funny. I had to go Monday afternoon and get my blood drawn for a re-test for my peanut allergy. I didn't cry at all, didn't squirm, didn't even flinch. That's how good I am! Mom took me out for grilled cheese after and I was getting a little tired and fussy and felt the need to pitch a fit (in the car, thankfully for mom). "YOU'RE BEIN' MEAN TO ME, MOM. I'M NOT THE ONE BEING MEAN TO MYSELF! YOU'RE THE ONE BEING MEAN TO ME!" Mom almost laughed at me but not quite- that would not have been a good thing.
