Hip Check

I had my appointment with the pediatric orthopedic specialist yesterday to check out the click in my left hip. I guess my breech position, the fact that I am a first born girl and it is my left hip that clicks are the top 4 risk factors for chronic hip dislocations. Who knew? If I had known that, maybe I would have turned and came out head first! Anyway, my hip is fine. The doctor was really nice, thought I was very cute (I am, of course) and told mom they were looking for more of a clunk rather then a click. Made sense to mom. He thought it was maybe a piece of cartiledge getting caught or the ligament that connects the hip into the hip socket- but nothing to worry about. Yeah! I guess that means mom's dream of me getting a swimming scholarship to Stanford and dad's dream of me winning the Tour de France are still possible. I gotta use my big, muscle thighs for something!
No rain yesterday- thank goodness. We need to dry out a bit!
For mom's next amazing feat- she is going to figure out how to turn the pictures upright so you don't develope neck problems trying to look at them. Be patient!
