It is continuing to pour rain. Sabino Canyon, which is about a mile from our house has gotten close to 6 inches of rain since Friday! It's crazy. The rivers actually have water in them. Mom went for a run along the Rillito River on Sunday morning and saw a tree uproot and float down the river. That river has since crested over its banks and is flooding out. It was pretty cool only because we never see that much water in the desert all at once. Our lake has receeded since dad punched a hole in the wall but our pool is close to overflowing.
We did have a fun weekend. I got to spend alot of time with dad. Mom went to church and then to a party for a co-worker, so dad and I got some quality bonding time on Saturday. On Sunday, our friend Brian and his girlfriend Christina came over for dinner. I was way too tired and so of course quite fussy but they handled me very well. Brian even cuddled with me for awhile to help calm me down. Brave man! We still had fun and dad continues with good grilling. We branched out and made kebobs. Yum.
