Well, this has been a pretty uneventful week. Dad has been out of town again on business and got stuck in Chicago for an extra day. He was supposed to be home this morning but his flight got cancelled so now he will be home tonight. We sure miss him!
I have officially spoken my first word. You would think it would mama or dada or even dog, since mom is constantly saying those 3 words to me. I decided to be a bit more creative and settled on "banana" as my first word. I said it yesterday when mom and I were eating our banana for dinner. Mom didn't quite believe it, so I said it again and again. Then I told Ms. Connie at daycare about bananas this morning. It is acutually very appropriate that my first word is a food because I am such an animal when it comes to my food. I think I'll work on "Cheerio" next.

Hurray!! Congratulations Jordan! Talking is a very important skill to have.
3 of us in this home agree that talking is an important skill to have. Unfortunately, Miss Paige disagrees. She feels that screaming at the top of her lungs and throwing herself across the floor is a much better way to communicate.
In any case, we are all VERY impressed at such a fancy word choice!
