The next day, Mr. Walker had to get up super early and fly back to Ohio. My Aunt Iva (his sister) is a teacher and had the school auditorium named after her. He flew back for the dedication. Congrats Aunt Iva- that is pretty cool. Grandpa would be proud! While Mr. Walker was in Ohio, we were busy getting my first professional portraits taken. It took me a little while to warm up but then it was all kinds of fun. We got some pretty cute ones. Nana and mom tried to get in some shopping but since I still didn't feel good, we went home to sleep. It was actually a very good day for sleeping as it snowed and rained all day long. We had a low keyed night with some playing in the trash can and then an early bed time.
On Saturday, Mr. Walker came home ( quick trip) and then Uncle Adam came over and he brought his dog, Mufasa. Oh, I loved that! I sure did miss my dogs here so it was nice to be able to pet one in the mean time. He was kind of a goof but very sweet.(Mufasa not Uncle Adam) In the afternoon, we went to the Albuquerque Biopark Aquarium. That was very cool! I especially loved the sting rays that swam right up to the window
. We came home today and I didn't take a nap all day long. I was in a pretty excellent mood but I guess it makes mom and dad tired when I don't sleep. Dad really missed us but he was able to get in a "stage race" over the weekend. That is 3 days of bike racing and he isn't sure how much he liked it. It left him pretty tired.
It was a fun weekend. I got to use the same high-chair mom and uncle Adam used, slept in their old crib, played with their old toys (and some new ones). Nana's "saving ways" are making her look pretty smart these days. She figured if she dug through the garage enough, she could find the old washclothes as well! We are heading back in May so we will see what she has dug up
