Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday weekend. Ours was pretty good. Mom and dad both had to work on Friday so I was at daycare. That's alright with me because I think it is more fun there than it is at home anyway.
The day after my last post, I managed to stand up all by myself. We were in the driveway and mom and dad were talking to the neighbors. I was crawling around, looking for something to eat when I thought it might be a fun suprize for mom and dad. It sure was! Mom felt kind of bad for Eric, our neighbor, because she and dad completely cut him off to be amazed by ME! Eric was impressed too though. I haven't really had the need to stand since- mom and dad are still pretty good leaning posts.
On Saturday, I pretty much slept the day away. Daycare wears a girl out, so I have to catch up on the weekends. Mom did drag me to the grocery store between naps. I went with Dad to Target in the afternoon and had a ball there. I was laughing and waving at everyone and talking to anyone who would listen. In the afternoon, we got to go for a swim and I got to try out my new pool floaty. Can I tell you how much fun that is!? I'm getting a little braver in the water and let dad float me on my back. I am also figuring out the breast stoke. I so love the pool. I threw the biggest fit trying to get me out of my suit and my HUGE wet diaper. Those things get enormous! Anyway, my tantrums make mom think twice about pool privileges for me.
On Sunday, we got up early and hit 8:30 mass. It was so very crowded but the good thing is there were 2 other babies back in our corner, so we kept each other entertained. I got a cool Easter basket with a beach ball for the pool and a pinwheel. Mom and dad hit the mother load of candy. Maybe next year for me. We had our neighbors, Patrick and Nicole over for Easter dinner. We went ethnic on them and made a big Korean feast. It was so delicious. Unfortunately for Patrick and Nicole, I was very tired and very cranky. I went to bed at 6:30 so I think mom and dad had a fun, grownup evening.
Happy spring everyone- the snow has to end eventually!
