Before.....

We had a nice, long 3 day weekend. Thursday, after mom picked me up from daycare, we went to the park because the weather was so nice. Dad got off work a little early and surprised us there and brought some yummy animal cookies. Dad is pretty cool that way.
Friday was Daddy day. Mom went for a run all by herself and dad and I hung out and ate breakfast together. Later, when mom was busy working on putting mom and dad's wedding pictures into an album (yes, 3 years later) Dad and I went to the Children's museum. I had a lot of fun but dad was not having as much fun as me. There were 3 bus loads of school kids there, so he spent a lot of time making sure I wasn't getting run over. We had an early dinner and then went to Lowe's hardware store. We are FINALLY getting started on the backyard. Yipee!! We went to pick out pavers and stuff. I was more interested in running up and down the aisles, so it wasn't the best "picking out stuff session" that mom has been on. Dad is pretty sure we can do it ourselves especially after getting back an estimate of about a billion dollars to have someone else do it. I put in some "before" pictures of our hideously embarrassing backyard and will keep everyone updated. (Now that it is written, mom and dad can't back out!)
Saturday was pretty quiet. We didn't do much and I wasn't feeling great. When mom got home from church, my temperature was 103.5. That got me some Tylenol and an early bedtime.
I woke up Sunday feeling better but still with a temp. Mom thinks it's teeth again. We took a short walk to see the horses that live near us. Horses are my new favorite animal, so that was very cool. We even got to see some walking in the wash. We spent a lot of the day outside because the weather was so nice. Mom and I did a lot of plant pruning and fertilizing and dad got 2 trees planted. I am off to bed early again as I can hardly keep my eyes open. Busy day at daycare tomorrow. Have a good week!
