Deeeelicious and nutritious!

I FINALLY feel better. Boy, was it a long week. Mom just had to look at me funny and I'd have a meltdown. I got back to my smiley, happy self about Saturday. Whew. Mom was ready to fly off to the Bahamas until I turned 18.

On Friday, I got to sleep in and mom and I went for a run. Then we went to the bookstore and I got to run around the children's section and pull books off the shelf, climb on the furniture, play with the train set, oh yeah and buy some books. Friday night, our friends Edy and Rob came over for dinner. That sure was fun and I wasn't even afraid of them. Sadly, I only got to hang out for a half and hour before I was banished to bed. But the best part of the day was dinner. Mom was feeling lazy and broke down and bought a Kraft Mac and Cheese dinner for me. It was the best thing ever. I ate every last noodle and then picked some noodles out of my bib- that's how much I loved it. No more hummus and broccoli for me.

On Saturday, dad started working on the yard! He really loves working on the yard! I think I caught a bit of an eye roll when he said that but I say, just keep thinking of all the money your saving. To spend on me at a later date of course. Saturday night, we went out hunting for pizza. The first place we went to didn't have any tables for eating and the second place had white table clothes- not looking to kid friendly. Dad then had fantastic idea- they sacrificed a few taste buds and took me to Chuckee Cheese. Wow- was that a sensory overload. Almost so much that I kind of forgot about my pizza. We had a great time- OK, I had a great time and that is all that really matters anymore.

Sunday, I slept in again and then mom and I went to the zoo. I especially liked the puddles and the park benches. Mom kept pointing out the animals but really, how interesting are those when you have things to climb on?! In the afternoon, I was supposed to have a fun Daddy-daughter day while mom was at a meeting but she drove off with the carseat and the stroller. That's OK because I think dad was pretty tired from day 2 of yard work. He got the drip system up and running, trenched then ran 2 of the 3 lines. The most exciting thing is that they really work! If dad's back holds out, we should have a backyard by January.
Have a wonderful week!
