Bonus Day

It started out being a boring kind of week. Mom is sick, so she isn't much fun to be around and we just seem busy doing not much. Mom is still excited about the hair thing and bought me some cool barrettes on Monday. I liked them so much that I made her put all of them in my hair at once. I looked so pretty! I wore some to daycare today but I made mom take them out before we even got there. I gotta work into this stuff you know.
Yesterday, Tuesday, daycare was closed because the water was shut off to fix a leak so mom and I got the whole day off together. Mom would have been more excited except she felt like poo. We did go to Sabino Canyon in the morning and spent all afternoon outside in our backyard. Can I just tell you how much I (we) love our backyard?! I just love to wander all over and go running and jumping off things, dig up rocks and swing. Mom and dad just love being able to sit and not see mounds of dirt and concrete. I love it so much, I decided not to take a nap yesterday and spend the afternoon outside. I think mom was counting on me to take a little rest so she could have a break but I just didn't feel the need. It was kind of painful for mom but we did take a little cat nap about 5 watching Giada on the Food Network.
It was back to school and work this morning. Mom was in good company at work as at least 99% of the staff is sick. Gross. We are all good at daycare though.
