The Dawdling Years

Mom has officially dubbed these the "The Dawdling Years". I guess I take FOREVER to get anything done, am constantly needing re-direction, reminding, refocusing etc. There are just so many other things to do that how can you focus on just the task at hand? Dad says I'm just like mom, but mom says everyone my age is like that. Who's right? Maybe mom just hasn't progressed past 2 years old?
This was another quiet weekend. I wasn't feeling great and had a little fever Friday night and Saturday so we laid pretty low- not that mom and dad need an excuse to lay low.
Sunday, I was feeling better so we got out some. Dad had another bike race so he and one of his new teammates left at 4 this morning for the race. They finished fifth and sixth which isn't to bad considering how dad did in this race last year.
Mom got really brave and took me to church. We sat in the back corner where I could do my thing and not bother to many people. We made it through the whole mass. It wasn't pretty but we did it. Unfortunately, I didn't discover how much crazy fun it is to run up the aisle and make mom chase me until the last 10 minutes. I hope I remember that for next time!
After church, we went to a brunch at one of mom's friend's house. She has the 2 best dogs- almost as patient as Daisy. I got to eat a whole bunch of good food and play with Matt and Elise and their Matchbox cars. A good morning!
Dad came home in the afternoon and we all hit the pool for awhile and just had a really relaxing afternoon.
