Mom and I have made it through 3 days and 3 nights without dad. Mom's only bad night was Monday but that was because she thought she could actually be productive around the house. Tuesday night and tonight went much better because we didn't try to do anything except play and eat dinner. I even gave her an extra special treat by wanting to go to bed early tonight. How's that for nice?!
Now, the bad news. Dad isn't sure if will get home tomorrow as planned. He was scheduled on one of the bazillion American Airlines flights that was cancelled for maintenence. Good and bad we say. When we talked to him tonight, he had been on hold with American for over an hour already, trying to reschedule. Good luck dad! Hope we see you tomorrow!
