The BEST dad EVER!

So we had a bit of a rough week/weekend here in the Goedel house.  Mom was sick Tuesday night and up until midnight, so dad of course was up with her.  They were exhausted on Wednesday and still recovering on Thursday.  Friday didn't come soon enough.  We did manage to drag ourselves out for dinner and a speedy trip to Costco.  I'm sure ya'll are wondering what the heck we buy there all the time.  The truth is not much- sometimes we just wander around.  Fun times!

On Saturday, we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at Raytheon were dad works.  We took the Jeep and had to bundle up pretty good but it was sure a fun ride.  There is so much to see when you don't have a roof.

I had a good time at the Easter Egg Hunt.  ( We don't have pictures because it was on the Raytheon plant site and we weren't allowed to have cameras).  While we were waiting for my age groups turn, Dad and I worked out a strategy.  I decided to go for the lollipops and the yellow eggs.  I am a girl with goals and I came back with a bag of lollipops and a yellow egg.

We headed home, had lunch and I "took a nap".  Mom came in to get me up (which was silly because I never went to sleep!) and found that I had emptied all of dresser drawers, my entire toy box, ate 5 of my lollipops (did mom not learn anything from the nail polish incident??!  She thought they were out of my reach but obviously not!) and then took my diaper off and peed on the floor.  Top that A-Team!

Things kind of went downhill from there.  I had to go to bed early but wasn't feeling well and woke up crying at 10.  My awesome dad pulled out his camping mattress and slept on my floor.  And if that wasn't enough, when I threw up on him not once, but twice in the middle of the night, he cleaned it and me all up and didn't complain once.  Mom was  there too but she was just sort of his assistant.  We finally all fell asleep about 1 AM BUT, I was raring to go at 5:30 AM and STARVING!  Mom and dad aren't looking so good today!

So we are all off to bed early once again and hoping for a more healthful week!
