The Sickness Continues

As usual, not a whole lot going on this week. Dad is busy doing our taxes so we can pay for our new floor- we hope!
I got a special surprise at school from my old infant room teacher. She was at the Gem and Mineral Show, which is a huge annual show here in Tucson with vendors from all over the world. Anyway, she was at a fossil show and found a really cool dinosaur tooth from a Spinosaurus. She gave it to me this morning and it about made my day. It is a very cool tooth and it was the very first thing I showed dad when he got home tonight.
Mom picked me up early from school today because I'm sick. She passed her nastiness on to me and I spent all morning moping around school and hacking up a lung. She felt sorry for me so she left work early, skipped her work out and we came home and watched movies and rested all afternoon. I got a little burst of energy and wanted to make Valentine's day cards for all my friends at school. Mom cut out hearts and I decorated them. We made an extra special one for my teacher. It's orange with eyeballs and feathers. It's pretty cool if I do say so myself.
I'm off to bed extra early tonight but have been having some sleep issues lately. One night last week, I got up at 11 o'clock and turned on the hall light and wandered around a bit. Mom got up to see what was wrong and apparently, I was still asleep. She just guided me back to bed. The last 2 nights, I have been having very distressing conversations with someone in my sleep about the fact that there is still "garbage in the mermaid kingdom." My poor brain just won't shut off.
